The International Network for Small & Medium Enterprises’ (INSME) conference
set to boost small business development
Cape Town will be playing host to the 11th International Network for Small and Medium
Enterprises (INSME) Annual Meeting and Forum, which will be held at the Cape Town
International Convention Centre (CTICC) from the 26 – 28 May, 2015.
This is the first time that this event will be held on the African continent and local Small and
Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will have the opportunity to access a wealth of international
knowledge and expertise and engage with industry leaders from around the world.
The INSME Annual Meeting & Forum will bring together leading global experts in the field of
SME innovation and technology commercialisation for mutual learning and networking.
The event will focus on the role and importance of technology-driven entrepreneurship
and innovation in fostering small business efficiency, competitiveness and growth.
Concurrent to the international event, the local 2015 Forging Enterprise Conference will be
hosted in collaboration with various partners in the government and corporate sector such
as Osiba Management and the Department of Small Business Development.
This unique event which will boast a small business exhibition component will showcase the
latest trends and developments in enterprise development in South Africa.
