What we do

WISP has a team of facilitators that work full time to build the industrial symbiosis network, identifying under-utilised
resources which could lead to business opportunities or “synergies” for member companies. Synergies are identified in two ways:

Once identified, WISP’s facilitators support its member companies to implement synergies by organising samples, organising meetings and ensuring that each synergy is legally sound. The facilitators fill the gaps that its members, especially SMEs, could experience due to lack of time or dedicated expertise needed to identify and implement resource, waste and energy management.

Once synergies are implemented and completed, the facilitators follow up with the member companies to record the benefits achieved. The WISP Team also create case studies for completed synergies outlining the details of the synergy and the benefits achieved; these case studies are a value-add for the members involved as the companies can use them for their own marketing.
