Cape Chamber of Commerce: Nordic Southern African Business Forum

23 October 2013

The Cape Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Chamber Trade Sweden, is hosting a Nordic Southern African Business Forum on 14 and 15 November.

This two-day conference in Cape Town will be focusing on the ICT, greentech and agribusiness sectors, with the objective of facilitating trade between attending companies.

Organisations from across Southern Africa and the Nordic region have been selected to join in and we are now looking for local companies which could benefit from the engagement.

The cross-cutting theme will on mobile innovation. There is a particular interest from companies in the Biowaste and Biofuels arena as well as solar, however this is still a good networking opportunity for your company and there will be representation in greentech from other African countries as well.

The first day of the forum will focus on information sharing to give attendees a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in both the north and the south and how businesses can gear up to take advantage of the export potential.

A dedicated networking session will close off the first day and this, in and of itself, will be of immense value to companies looking to meet new potential partners and clients.

The second day will be given over to facilitated matchmaking opportunities where interested companies can get down to the business of engineering deals.

There is strong interest from both Nordic and other African countries and we hope you will give this serious consideration.

The conference is free to companies who are eligible, but spaces are limited and final selection resides with the event organisers.
