GreenCape has issued this request for proposal (RFP) in connection with the Sustainable Infrastructure Development and Financial Facility (SIDAFF) Programme for a professional service provider (PSP) to provide project preparation services for infrastructure development in Saldanha Bay Municipality.

Scope of work
The objective of the project is to prepare three infrastructure projects located at the Saldanha Bay Local Municipality for construction with external financing. There are three projects within this scope of works, and bidders should provide a response to all three projects in their proposals:
- PROJECT A entails the upgrading and refurbishment of the Vredenburg Wastewater Treatment Works to the designed capacity of 5 Ml/d. The plant is currently operating at ~3Ml/d with the inlet works, aeration basis and the clarifier being the main process components requiring refurbishment and upgrades.
- PROJECT B entails the upgrade of the supply line to Langebaan.
- PROJECT C is the design of the Louwville Reservoir as well as the bulk supply main to Louwville.
