GreenCape has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) in connection with the Sustainable Infrastructure Development and Financial Facility (SIDAFF) Programme for a Professional Service Provider (PSP) to provide project preparation services for infrastructure development in Swartland Municipality.
Scope of work: The objective of the Project is to prepare two infrastructure projects located at the Swartland Local Municipality for construction with debt financing. There are two projects within this scope of works, and bidders should provide a response to both these projects in their proposals:
- PROJECT A entails the upgrade of the Swartland Water Treatment Works (WTW) by means of a full plant refurbishment. Demand analyses have indicated that the plant capacity of the Swartland WTW located at Sonquasdrift should be increased from 29Ml/d to 40Ml/d.
- PROJECT B is a replacement and capacity increase of a portion of the pipeline between the Swartland WTW and Darling to accommodate the increased future supply and demand.
