GreenCape is seeking quotes from Geographical Information Systems (GIS) technical service providers to develop an interactive land use planning map for the Mpumalanga region for use by renewable energy project developers and policy decision makers.
The GIS service providers will be required to process supplied data into GIS layers and develop an accessible online GIS map. The service also includes sourcing a separate hosting platform, providing the raw data in a downloadable format, creating a user-friendly interface for the map, and providing training to GreenCape staff.
The GIS map will be used by policy makers with limited experience in GIS software, so a simple and easy-to-understand user interface is crucial. For more information, please email [email protected].
